I realize that's a strange way to describe it, but I feel grisly calling myself "the bereaved," "the grieving," or that Victorian standby, "the relict." I know I will garner no sympathy for this, but I have spent most of this month sitting on my couch reading. Sometimes I proofread something, sometimes I get out and see the sky, but mostly I've been in my ground state. Haven't really read anything interesting - mostly old favorites.
